West Auckland Rugby Tournament

Recently we took 4 teams to the first annual Western Zone Rugby Tournament.  The day was held at Avondale Racecourse and was run by the great team from Auckland Rugby and ProSport.

We entered 1 x Open Weight Team, 2 x Under 50kg Teams and 1 x Rippa Rugby Team (this team was made up of Year 2's competing against Year 5/6 teams.

It was a very sccessful day for all the teams.

Results: 

Open Weight:  2nd

Under 50kg Team 1:  3rd

Under 50kg Team 2:  8th

Rippa Rugby:  7th

A special thanks to all the families that came down and supported our teams.  Was great to have so much support.

Auckland Primary Schools Rugby Tournament

Our Under 50kg Team has been playing in the Auckland wide rugby competition.  The boys have been playing some great rugby and have qualified for the knockout stage of the tournament.  This places us in the top 8 in Auckland.

Our quarter final will be played this Friday 13 August against Holy Cross School in Papatoetoe.
