BP Oil Spill Letters
After learning about protecting our coastlines and the
work of Sir Peter Blake our senior students were very concerned with
BP's oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
To voice their concerns they
wrote letters to the CEO of BP, Tony Hayward, and some of these were published in the New Zealand Listener on July 17.
The Managing Director of BP in New Zealand, Mike
McGuinness, read our students' letters and sent them a letter in
response to their concerns.
